O Travis sempre foi uma banda desnecessária para mim. A existência deles é uma coisa que não faz a mínima diferença para o britpop e, o mundo em geral.

Eles nunca me chamaram muito atenção. Eu gostava de algumas baladinhas do primeiro disco como "Why does it always rain on me" e "Turn" mas, de resto nada me atrai muito.

Descobri outra coisa que eles tocam q me deixa muito feliz. Ela se chama "The Weight" e, nem é deles. Se não me engano se trata de uma antiga música do Allman Brothers*.

Ela é muito apropriada para o momento e, se você não se lembrar dela, pode escutar no fim do filme "A família de Igby". Estes dias, estávamos aqui em casa, eu e a mãe assistindo ao filme, que eu já tinha assistido anteriormente e me deparei com o maravilhoso final ao som desta música. Minha mãe achou a letra ridícula, eu admirei muito. Segue então...
